What causes gallbladder stones?

Some gallstones are formed of cholesterol while some are formed from calcium salts and bilirubin. Although there is not any proven theory for the cause of gallstones but some below mentioned points can give us idea about the formation of gall stones.

·       Hefty amount of cholesterol in bile

A study reveals that most of the gallstones are formed of cholesterol. From that we can conclude that excess amount of cholesterol in diet contributes in the evolution of gallstones in gallbladder.

·       Surplus establishment of bilirubin

A yellowish substance in our blood emerged when liver erodes old red blood cell, is known as bilirubin. Origin of gall stones takes place when gallbladder is not able to digest extra amount if bilirubin.

·       Undiluted bile due to slow working or complete gallbladder

If our gallbladder works slow and remains full mostly, bile becomes undiluted or concentrated and due to this there are chances of gallstone formation.
